This could be an implantation bleed. An implantation bleed is a very tiny bleed that can happen and it can be very light pink or brown-ish and we expect this also after IVF or from an embryo, when they get a late implantation. This kind of bleeding may be expected and if there is a pool of blood or a clot that has happened during the instrumentation, whilst undertaking the IUI procedure, don’t forget that the IUI is done blindly, sometimes without using a scan. Sometimes it hits the cervical canal which is normal and I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
