How many days after IUI does implantation bleeding occur?
Is it normal to bleed after IUI?
Answer from:
Gynaecologist, Consultant in Reproductive Medicine Phoenix Hospital Group
Yes you can and usually this is a live bleed and it is related to the procedure itself and sometimes we use vulsellum for the technique and sometimes the hormones that you are using can create an inflamed cervix that we call cervical ectropion. All of these are factors that can cause this bleeding to happen. If you bleed a few days after it may just be an implantation bleed but you should not be expecting a huge bleed or clots, this may be at a later stage if unfortunately you experience a miscarriage. Bleeding is okay so long as it is minimal.
