Moses Batwala

Dr Moses is currently the group medical director of a Sims IVF which is the largest IVF provider in Ireland. He was originally born in Uganda in East Africa but when he was about 18, he moved to the UK and he went to University at Leeds University up in Yorkshire where he studied to become a medical doctor. He graduated from Leeds Medical School in 2001 where he graduated with an honors in biochemistry and then he started working for the NHS and he specialized in obstetrics and gynecology and he got his membership to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 2009. After he became a member of the Royal College of Observations and Gynecologists, he started specializing in infertility and he became a consultant in 2013 in Sheffield also in Yorkshire and after he became a consultant, he decided to go and do some research at Oxford University and he did his research in “Quality of life of women in infertility who are undergoing investigation” and also Moses looked at the health economics of women undergoing fertility investigation. Since his graduation in 2001, he was working in the public sector in the UK which is the National Health Service and then in 2016 he started working in the private sector in London. He worked for a number of different fertility clinics and he specialized in treating women with low ovarian reserve or women over the age of 40. He worked in London till 2021 which was five years and then he moved over to Ireland where he initially joined Sims as a Clinical Director down in Cork and then by just about two weeks ago, Moses got appointed as their group medical director and he will be moving from Cork to Dublin to take up his new position. He is currently based in Ireland enjoying himself since moving from the UK. Ireland is a beautiful country with very very green, very friendly people and he has been having a really excellent time with the staff he is working with and the patients have been very welcoming and really helped him settle in Ireland.
