This technique is normally done in case of very poor prognosis, for example, a woman has done five, six, seven IVF treatments and all the time her embryos are arrested and we can propose to her egg donation but when she does not agree we can propose this technique. Arrest of embryos may be due to a problem of her nucleus so, abnormal chromosome number or quality or maybe use sometime on some cytoplasmic factor like low mitochondria number or some other factors and in this case, this technique may be very very helpful.
