Do frozen embryos implant slower than fresh embryos?
You may be wondering if embryo implantation after frozen blastocyst transfer (FET) is delayed compared to that performed with fresh embryos. This is something that embryologists have observed and studied well. Learn more about delayed implantation and what benefits it may have.

We know that the implantation procedure happens the same day when the embryo transfer takes place or the day after. So, there is not enough evidence to say that the frozen embryo implants slower than the first ones because if we are talking about a day five embryo, a blastocyst embryo, the moment when the embryo plants should be exactly the same. So, there won’t be any major differences in the time when it implants.
