Are there any natural ways of getting pregnant with unexplained fertility?

Is natural conception possible with unexplained fertility? Are there any different groups of patients with unexplained infertility and the other treatments are offered? Is IUI recommended ?

Unexplained infertility is not a diagnosis in its self and it is not an absolute thing, so anyone with that label it is really subfertility. It means they have perhaps a smaller chance of conceiving as most people will conceive early on in the process of trying, but it doesn’t mean there is no chance. You have to take into account, life, natural fecundity of humans if you like and age comes into it as well so for older woman it will take longer for them to conceive perhaps because each egg is less likely to make a pregnancy. There is an interesting piece of data that suggests that if you want to have a decent chance of having or completing your family, you need to start at different ages. For a 75 percent chance of having three children, for instance, you probably need to start at 30/31. If you want just one child or you’re happy that one child would be enough for you, if you start at 37 you’ve got a pretty good chance of getting that one child. What this reflect’s is that we are not that great at making babies really. But it is important to recognise that most people will conceive within a reasonable time frame and therefore it is worthwhile considering treatment or thinking how you might enhance those chances for women who have tried for longer.
