Jessica Subira, M.D. Consultant in Gynecology, Sub-specialist in Reproductive Medicine

Jessica is a Gynecologist, specialist in infertility. Jessica mainly works at IVI RMA Valencia in Spain and at La FE University Hospital at the Fertility Preservation Unit. Her journey as  Infertility Specialist started almost 10 years ago. She finished her training in Gynecology in Valencia and she decided to move abroad, to Oxford to do a research fellowship to specialize in Fertility. It took 3 years  to specialise in the UK. Jessica came back to Spain and then she joined the Fertility Preservation Unit at La FE hospital in 2015. Her main areas of interest are fertility preservation and she has been doing this for six years now and also poor ovarian response. Jessica is also very interested in research, being associate editor of Human Reproduction which is one of the main journals of fertility worldwide. Her personal view on fertility treatments for patients is not only to provide them with excellent clinical care but also to give them a caring environment to be able to go through all the process which we all know is highly emotionally demanding. Jessica is happy to share a bit of her experience and is looking forward to answering the questions about fertility preservation.
