So the good responders tend to be those with PCOS or higher AMH’s – they um ones who have good antral follicle counts so, they tend to be on lower doses to minimize that risk of hyperstimulation but they can still go. PCOS patients are quite difficult to stimulate because it can take a while for their ovaries to start going but once they do go then the follicles go quite large, quite quickly and it could be that with a PCOS patient they’re cancelled because of poor stimulation once or twice until you can get the medication right and the younger patients but that doesn’t necessarily mean the older patients won’t hyperstimulate.
