The TSH thyroid stimulating hormone – we’ve seen in many cases that they have miscarriages or they have failed IVF trials or the other marker for the thyroid it’s the autoimmune antibodies TPOAb and TgAb – for these – women that they suffer from Hashimoto’s thyroiditis they have also problems in conceiving or they have IVF failed trials and when we test for the NK cells, we see all the markers of NK cells to be high. That means we have evidence that has modified this thyroiditis to increase the NK cells number or the endometrial or the NK activity of these women who want to try to have a successful pregnancy.

About this question:

What causes elevated NK cells? What are the reasons for elevated NK cells?

TSH level is one of the most frequent tests ordered by doctors but we tend not to understand how essential proper function of thyroid hormone is. Basically, alteration in the levels of TSH can affect the immune system which means that the hormone has an important role in Inflammation, Autoimmunity and Pathogen Clearance.
