No, there is no relationship between a miscarriage – if that is an early miscarriage, a late miscarriage or indeed a recurrent miscarriage because the definition between miscarriage and local miscarriage is based on the number of miscarriages that have occurred so there’s no relationship as such between a miscarriage and an ectopic pregnancy. I think both the miscarriage and the ectopic pregnancy are early pregnancy complications and we know that the risk of an ectopic pregnancy is affected by factors that are different in most cases from the factors that could be increasing the risk of a miscarriage.
