This is something that needs to be tested through the hormones and through sonography and ultrasound and see if there are follicles actually growing.

You can detect ovulation at home by checking your temperature. Body temperature rises about 0.3 to 0.5 degrees Celsius during ovulation time. You can also detect changes in your vaginal discharge which becomes much thinner much clearer like egg white to facilitate sperm transport. Finally you can use LH kits which actually detect the hormone called LH in your urine which we know surges just before ovulation takes place. With the help of sonographer of biochemistry investigation, you can also detect with transvaginal scan if there appears to be the remnant of were the egg was before which is called corpus luteum and free fluid in the abdomen which would be result of the ovulation and with the biochemistry investigation, you can detect the presence of progesterone which also surges after ovulation takes place.

As I mentioned, the first thing you need to do is to monitor your FSH and LH hormones. The FSH is at the right level stimulating the follicles and then LH is stimulating the release of the ovum and then also track progesterone because then you know whether the cycle was ovulatory or not and if there is sufficient progesterone for implantation so these 3 tests: FSH tests, LH test and progesterone test are included in our ovulation tracking kit which is more a hormone charting kit and they can be used at home in urine and just digitize with the camera of the phone.

About this question:

Knowing your body is essential to shorten the duration process of conception. A mature egg, ovum, is able to be fertilized within 24 hours from being released from the ovary. Sperm on the other hand can be active for up to a week and for this reason it is so important to calculate properly when the fertile days are.
