Can you do egg retrieval without anesthesia?

We can actually do egg retrieval without anesthesia. We left this approach for mini IVF or for natural cycle IVF in which we have to retrieve only one or two follicles (one or two eggs) because it may be a little bit painful of discomfort if you don’t go through anesthesia so, we sort of leave this “no anesthesia” to women that have a very very low ovarian reserve.
