DHEA is actually a supplementation that can improve IVF outcomes and there are some cases that people are not responding to IVF and it has been shown that in these cases, in particular DHEA, can show some benefit. There are no contraindications maybe if some women taking blood thinners, maybe that would be a reason to actually check that with your doctor but when someone is already in an IVF cycle, that would be something that has been checked so, if blood thinners were taken, DHEA would probably not be offered at the same time.
