Once we have completed an embryo transfer, there is no medical reason to rest or stay in bed. In fact, after the embryo transfer, we recommend that patients consider themselves pregnant. In some cases, we suggest a relative rest for a couple of hours, and that’s all. From that moment onwards, they should lead a normal life as a pregnant woman would, avoiding strenuous physical efforts and taking care of their diet and hydration. Apart from these precautions, there’s nothing more a woman can do to influence the outcome of the treatment.

Okay. Yes, you can bend. There is no problem with that at all.

Yes, you can bend. You can run if you are used to running, you can go to the gym if it is good for you. I always say the same: do whatever you think is better for you. If staying at home makes you feel that gives you a better opportunity to get pregnant, so stay at home. Not at bed but staying at home or not going to gym but if you think that staying at home is bad for you and you prefer to go to the gym, so you go to the gym. There is no contraindication for that.

About this question:

Does bending down affect implantation?

Embryos are very precious and we want to do all to maximize the positive outcome. What sort of daily activities are risky? In what way can we jeopardize the treatment?
