Arianna D’Angelo, MD

Arianna D’Angelo is a Consultant in assisted reproduction at Wales Fertility Institute in Wales, United Kingdom, and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Cardiff University. Her main area of interest is assisted reproduction. She has been working in this field for over 20 years, particularly in ultrasound in assisted reproduction, fertility preservation for oncology reason, for gender reassignment, and any other benign condition related to fertility preservation.

Dr. Arianna D’Angelo is a member, reviewer, co-reviewer and translator of the Cochrane Gynaecology and Fertility Group. She is a member of Guidelines Development Group (GDG) working on ESHRE guidelines on Fertility preservation and Ultrasound. She is an editor for the European Medical Journal (EMJ) and for CRC press. Her research interests are Ultrasound, Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS), fertility preservation and cancer, recurrent implantation failure, markers of ovarian reserve, and ovarian cancer screening. She is the author of several international publications; speaker at national and international conferences and peer-reviewer for many journals in the field of reproductive medicine and ultrasound. She is a BFS accredited trainer in fertility scanning.
