Meet Alicia Tio Castro
Alicia is an embryologist and a fertility navigator from Spain who grew up in a small village surrounded by nature and for this reason she decided to study biology. She discovered her passion for embryology during the second year of her career and she ended up specializing in embryology. Something that fascinated her a lot is how a sermatozoa, a simple cell, can move by itself and find an egg and after fertilization they become an embryo – a baby.
Alicia became an embryologist in 2015. She worked a few years in a fertility clinic as an embryologist in charge of patient care. Now, she is working internationally as a fertility navigator helping people to navigate their fertility option, answering all the fertility related questions, helping them find the resources they need to get pregnant such as fertility clinics or a specialist.
Alicia truly believes that she has one of the best jobs in the world.
